AUGUST FAVORITES

August, you amaze me every time. This past month, we headed up to Lake George for a few days — my favorite summer spot — and I also got to check out some new spots in NYC (Monkey Bar and Il Totano are two new faves). I also spent this month covering some cool events, from a party for Sol de Janeiro’s new fragrance ‘76 (it’s glorious FYI) to celebrating Tree Hut’s fall launches at Tate Mcrae @ Madison Square Garden. So much fun and I’m so so grateful for the month I’ve had. Without further ado, here are some of my fave purchases and go-tos of the month.

FASHION

Levi’s 501 Gold Shorts — It’s a long standing tradition to visit the outlets at Lake George on every trip, and they have a pretty sweet Levi’s outlet that I, unsurprisingly, can’t avoid. These gold 501s not only caught my eye cause I snagged them for under $20, but because they’re such a unique hue for summer-into-fall fashion, and I kind of love it. Even better news, they’re also currently on sale for $20 on Amazon RN too, so RUN!

Amazon Fashion Satin Neck Scarves — The kerchief top is alive and well this summer into fall, and I decided to get a little creative to master the trend without breaking the bank. Enter: this set of four satin neck scarves I picked up on Amazon that have served as four (that’s right 4) separate tops. These are bigger scarves which make it a little easier to tie around your chest, and you can fold them in different ways to capture different parts of the fabric. I lived in these this past month, and it’s my new favorite style hack! Scroll through this IG post to see how I styled this one.

Croc iPad Case (similar here) — This iPad case has come in handy this summer, as it’s traveled all over the country (LOL!) I like to fly with my iPad always so that I download shows I want to watch, so this baby came with me to Charleston and to Chicago this past summer. Sean also brought this iPad (case and all) along on his trips this summer, and who knew it would come in so clutch.

HOME DECOr

Disco Pumpkins (similar here) — With my fave szn around the corner, it’s also unsurprising that I came home with this set of pumpkins from Target. It actually came with eight mini pumpkins that I’ve now parsed around throughout the apartment, and they’re so so cute. Did I mention the whole set was $3 ?!!?!! Why can’t it be fall ALL YEAR? Lol.

Kate Spady Wavy Gold Frame *gifted * — Major thanks to Sabavi Home for gifting me this gorgeous frame this past month! It’s the perfect blend of trendy in shape, yet classic in hue, and it looks perfect on our TV console.
