DECEMBER FAVORITES

The last month of the year was filled with so much newness I simply couldn’t get enough of it! New contracts, new friends, new family + new bold pieces that are seriously bringing me out of my comfort zone in sooo many different ways. But that’s what the last month of the year is all about: reflecting on how far you’ve come, and adapting to a whole lot of new as things change. Ahead, find some of the things I’ve been loving as of late that will add a whole lot of new to you too.

LAMARQUE Deora Jacket — Thank you thank you thank you Santa, for this gorgeous piece. I spied this feathery-goodness a few months ago while browsing REVOLVE and threw it on my Christmas list as soon as I possibly could. This jacket is surprisingly incredibly comfortable, super warm, luxe and just overall a show stopper. Ironically, it also sometimes photographs as a nice powder blue thanks to VSCO (seriously, this post is actually this jacket if you can believe it!) I love the Light Grey shade — it simply goes with everything yet still manages to up the ante of any look.

Free People Macaroon Sweater —Another gift from Santa this year, this FP sweater is seriously where it’s at. I love the neckline of this as well as the balloon sleeves — and it really does a nice job of being the sweater-blouse combo you’ve always dreamed of.

Alanna Bracelet — I realized this month that I wear this ALL the time, and it has yet to be featured on this blog (until now!). This bracelet was a gift to me for my baptism (yes, it’s my OG baby bracelet) and we added a link onto it so that it fits my arm as an adult. It’s solid gold, totally gorgeous and reminds me of family which is why I think I’ve been wearing it non-stop as of late. It’s truly a special special piece of jewelry and nothing can ever replace it.

Pink Velvet ScrunchieI’ll admit — I was never a big scrunchie guru back in my childhood days, but these cute velvet versions from UO have totally made me a believer as of late. I like to throw up my hair into a half up/half down situation with this one while I’m doing my makeup — or just a regular pony. It’s super cute and instantly makes any outfit feel cozy :)

Brixton Ashland Fisherman Cap in Cream Okay, so I picked up a black version of this hat back in September when I went down to NOLA for a week — and I’ve been non stop wearing it to just about every event. That’s why, for Christmas this year, I just knew I needed to ask for this felt-cream version that I knew would pair well with white booties, and I’m so glad I actually got it! It’s super warm, looks really cute paired with just about every outfit, and it instantly gives your look a chic appeal with zero effort.

Ugg Coquette Slippers in Gray My middle school self would be rejoicing because I got my hands on another pair of Uggs this Christmas as well. Many thanks to Sean who listened to me complain about not having slippers I loved for this one. These are super comfy, so pretty and I can’t wait to wear them all the time. Plus, I love the dark grey because it makes me feel more adult.

Here’s to 2019 — and I’ll see you all then!!! 💥
