Come now, you couldn't possibly think that I would post a shoot like this and not reference Fleetwood Mac's Landslide. (Okay, maybe I could've, but these snow covered hills were hard to resist). A couple of things I love about the song: it tells the story of life, yet it's extremely repetitive — and as I've learned in the recent days, months, years — this repetition is pretty accountable for keeping the world going round. Stevie & co were really onto something: life really does repeat itself. I wanted to capture the demure of the song while still adding a tinge of my signature extravagant edge in this look, and here's what I came up with.

I started with this outrageously incredible MJ jacket I got for Christmas — which by the way, is marked down to, $30, that's right, THIRTY, T-H-I-R-T-Y, dollars right now. Next, I paired it with this flirty skirt I picked up from Brandy Melville back in the day (similar here) and added high knee socks. To finish the look off, I added these gorgeous Hazel Interlocking Earrings I received in my last Rocksbox, and my sig Ray Bans.

To tie into this whole repetition theme, I leave you with this symbiotic quote (one of my favs of course) —

"Fair is foul and foul is fair..."
