MALEFICENT FEAT. SHOP CIDER

Disney! How I missed ya. I don’t consider myself Disney-obsessed in any way whatsoever, but taking a trip there every so often truly is good for the soul. The last time I went was in 2016 with no other than, Lindsey, of course. We vlogged our trip there over a span of five videos — here’s a look back at it — and although I’ll never Disney vlog like Lindsey Disney vlogged, I certainly tried this trip (watch my recap here!). If I took anything away from our long weekend there, it’s that Lindsey is very much alive at Disney, I felt her presence at just about every turn, from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, to the Jungle Boat Cruise (both where she worked), to the fireworks show at Epcot that she loved so dearly. During my trip there with her, I remember telling her that I wished the villains had more of a moment in the parks, I’d love to see a mini villains land with attractions dedicated to Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella, and more. She scoffed at it, but also laughed, telling me I was a Disney villain at heart. And she’s not wrong, Maleficent is probably my fave. I had the best time this trip showing Sean around the parks and celebrating our friends’ wedding. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I know one thing’s for sure, it’s the place to go if I wasn’t to be as close as I can to Lindsey again. For that reason, I’ll always go back once in a while.

Our first night was Valentine’s Day, but I wanted to get dressed up with a twist. This adorable rose petal tank and neck scarf from Shop Cider ( * gifted * ) did just the trick, and reminds me a bit of Maleficent’s colors and vibes. I paired it with a black mini skirt, Fendi baguette, strappy sandals, (similar here) and these adorable Shop Cider heart earrings ( * also gifted *). This was truly a magical night and trip altogether, and I think I have Lindsey to thank for that for watching over us <3.
