JANUARY FAVORITES

I think this month may have possibly been the longest month…. ever. But I’m kind of glad it’s coming to a close—in hopes of less frigid weather to come. This month was quite cozy though, and I got to check out some new places and revisit some old. We had a lovely trip up to Windham, and I got to check out some new and old spots in NYC. New favorites include Nubeluz, which was pretty divine, and the Experimental Cocktail Club, which I will be revisiting as soon as possible because yes— their Croissant flavored champagne is probably one of the most interesting beverages I’ve ever consumed. I’m also making it a mission in 2025 to explore more mocktails not so much in an effort to drink less, but more so because I want to be more intentional when I do enjoy a drink. TBD on how that will go for me lol. Anyway, without further ado, here’s some of my favorite purchases (and gifts!) of the month, and I can’t wait to style all of this as we brave one more winter month (and then, restyle these pieces in Spring!)

FASHION

Cider High Neck Lace Dress Umm, hi hello, where has this dress been all my life? It kind of reminds me of a ruffled, Limited Too peasant top I had back in middle school and I’m absolutely loving the sentiment. This dress is super cute and stretchy, and I recently paired it over a white tee and skirt to make it a bit more work-appropriate (as seen in this Glamour article). It rides up a bit and it is quite short, so I’ll likely always pair a skirt and tank underneath, even in warmer weather, but I’m just loving the vibes and it makes me feel like Stevie Nicks.

Cider Low Rise Mini Skirt Another really gorgeous piece I recently got from Cider this month is this fab mini skirt. It’s super velvety to the touch and pairs well with just about anything— whether it’s a chunky sweater, billowy top or cropped tee. I think this makes a great winter to spring transition piece and my favorite part is that it has built in mini shorts (yes plz!)

accessories

Jennifer Behr Caryann Earrings * gifted * — I just had to include these gorgeous earrings I was gifted this past month from Jennifer Behr. I mean have you seen anything more stunning! I love that they give off vintage vibes and they even look cute with my extensive earring stack.

Reese Cold Weather Boot OMG, how cute aer these. These Moonboot-inspired furry boots popped up on my Instagram in the beginning of the month, and I just new I had to scoop them for my ski trip. They’re super comfy and easier to walk around in than they look (lol) and just add a ton of coziness to any outfits. I’m obsessed.

Faux Shearling Mini Crescent Handlebag — Ummm, are you sensing a theme? Because, same. I’ve been into shearling boots and bags a lot this month apparently. This cutie bag was an impulse buy at Target early in the month, and I’ve been wearing it non-stop. It’s roomy enough to fit all the accessories but compact enough to fit right under my shoulder. 10/10!

For those feeling stuck, or in a rut this month (since January can drag on a bit, and I’ve totally been there), here’s a little advice from the Bard:

“Let me embrace thee, sour adversity, for wise men say it is the wisest course”
