MARCH FAVORITES
Well. What a strange month it’s been. First and foremost, I hope that if you’re reading this, you’re home, safe and well — and that everyone in your fam is, too. What a bizarre, one of a kind time we’re experiencing right now. Never would I ever have thought that we’d see a pandemic in our lifetimes like this… and man, is it so heartbreaking. These past few weeks I’ve been camped out at Sean’s (only returning to my apartment occasionally to deep mask my hair and grab clothes), and everyday kind of swirls into the next. At the beginning of this month, I made a promise to myself to try to make a small trip (whether it’s to upstate, or on the east coast, or wherever) at least once a month to get out of the city — boy, was I about to be shocked after I made that declaration. All in all, these past few weeks have been difficult, and we’ll be facing more to come on that in the coming weeks, but I still wanted to share things I love (like writing about fashion!! beauty!!! plus any fun recordings I have during this time) as a little distraction. So without further ado, here are the favorites I’ve been loving this month, quarantine style.

Adidas Tie Dye by Interzone Vintage — These days from home have me embracing the comfy, athleisure side of me that most often, people don’t see. I have also taken this opportunity to online shop for some pieces in this category, because, well I a) have the time and b) dressing in a comfortable manner is actually comforting for my soul right now. It’s giving my creative brain a break, and I appreciate that. I did, however, stumble upon this awesome oversized Adidas jumper on Etsy, by a cool shop called Interzone Vintage. It’s hand tie-dyed the coolest, brightest red and I’ve basically been living in it. I actually snagged the last one (most are one of a kind), but I’ve linked the shop above so that you can check out their other work. If you want to opt for a regular Adidas hoodie with the same type of flair, I love this one.
Missguided Cream Co Ord Cable Knitted Leggings — To go along with my comfort mantra, I’ve also been living in comfy leggings. I got this cute cableknit pair from Missguided a few months ago and can’t get enough. They’re stretchy, really soft and go with pretty much any top. My favorite is to pair them with a black crop top or a white matching cableknit sweater. (Or, let’s be real, this Adidas jumper as well lol).

Touchland Power Mist — Sanitizers are hard to come by these days, but I was lucky to get this one a while back at work and haven’t parted ways with it since. I love how it doesn’t smell like your typical hand sanitizer and doesn’t dry out your hands. I’ve been using this one since February and still have a ways to go with it as well. 10/10 would recommend, so bookmark it and pick one up when they restock.
Billie Wonder Wipes — There’s a reason why I love these so much and it only has a little bit to do with it’s cool, holographic packaging. These wipes have been such a lifesaver for me during my stay at Sean’s because they remove my makeup (which yes, I’m still wearing everyday), cool down my skin and are so soft and plush. The best part? They’re 100% biodegradable.
Innisfree Masks — Of course I couldn’t come to Sean’s without equipped with some skin-care masks, could I? I brought a ton of Innisfree masks I had lying around and have been loving soaking my face in them a bit. Next up is the Fig and Betaine Solution — they’re so cheap, you need to get your hands on them, like now!
And so I’ll leave you with a light, hopeful quote from the bard:
“True hope is swift, and flies with swallow's wings. Kings it makes gods, and meaner creatures kings”
[Richard III 5.2]
Here’s to a healthy April + beyond. Stay well!
