FEBRUARY FAVORITES

IMG_6208.JPG

February felt pretty long for me this year, not sure if it’s because of the Leap Day or that I’m gearing up for a lot of changes (read: moving! soon! ah!). Sean and I also did a president’s day weekend trip in Vermont to ski for a couple of days so I think that may have added to it as well. (Yes, I did in fact take two ski lessons and did NOT tumble down the green this time! Impressive, I know). As far as favorites I’ve been loving this month, I discovered the coolest underwear brand, am getting back into using candles (more on that later), and adding more tie-dye into my wardrobe. Let’s break it down!

Missguided Sand Tie Dye Crew Neck TopI have this weird thing where I’m trying to incorporate more prints into my wardrobe, but because I’m so picky about them, I gravitate towards neutral prints before I add any color into the mix. I found this neutral tie dye top online right before my Vermont trip and thought it’d be the perfect addition to my wardrobe for the weekend, as well as an easy top to wear under overalls etc to work. It’s comfy, cute, and can really be dressed up or down which I love!

Knickey — Okay, so I’m one of those people who always forgets to use coupons. It’s a terrible habit that I’ve developed (often I’ll stick them somewhere thinking I’d remember where they were), but lately I’ve been trying to pay more attention to it. One recent discount that caught my eye was a gift card to Knickey, this cute organic cotton underwear company from a WWD NYFW Party gift bag. The branding is so on point, I ordered two pairs that were so comfortable and fit so well that I ordered two more. So far, I have the Low Rise Bikini in Midnight Moon and Butterscotch, and the Low Rise Thong in Midnight Moon and Beach Bum. They’re so good I can’t wait to order more — and they’re SO AFFORDABLE as well. Follow them on Insta stat, you’ll become obsessed.

TFH Star Huggies — Lately I’ve been really into dainty earrings, and since I have four piercings on my right ear and three on my left, they suit my ears well. I’ve been loving little huggies for my first and second holes on each ear, and when I found these teeny star ones by TFH on Etsy, I knew I had to pick them up. Huggies tend to be so expensive, especially when you’re getting them from jewelry brands directly, so it’s great to find similar looking styles for way cheaper, like these.

Innisfree Ribbon Hair Band — I recently got this at an Innisfree event for their 20th!! birthday, and I’m totally obsessed with wearing it every time I apply my makeup. It’s super soft, keeps my hair back and is literally a dollar, so worth every penny.

Otherland Candles — For my cool brand spotlight this month, I have to go with Otherland. I haven’t been using candles a lot recently due to issues we’ve run into in my apartment building, but as that’s been cleared up now, I’m starting to get back into lighting them. The branding, the scents, and the pure creativity of Otherland is just genius, and if you’re a candle lover, I highly highly recommend.

Leaving you with a little self-love reminder as we go into March and the Spring season!
