MARGOT VIBES FEAT. STORETS

For my first look of 2021: I opted for inspiration from one of my (many) favorite Wes Anderson characters: Margot Tenenbaum. She’s stylish, sarcastic, fierce, empathetic — and, of course loves a good fur coat. After recently rewatching the film with Seanner (he’d never seen it), I decided to channel her vibes by putting together this look over the holiday break.

I don’t actually have a fur coat, but recently picked up this beige puffer with a (faux) detachable fur trim from Missguided. To me, this felt like a more modern take on her signature raglan. Next, I wore this gorgeous silky top from Storets (similar here) and Rag and Bone black jeans. To wrap up the look, I added this chain from ALV Jewels (thanks Sean!), my Gucci Marmont Camera bag, and these really cool beige boots from Circus by Sam Edelman. I added a bubble pony (I feel like Margot would be a fan), and a red lip to wrap up the look.
