DECEMBER FAVORITES
After a hectic last few weeks of 2019 — I’m super late to share my favorites of last month, but decided to post about them anyway! I’m so fortunate to say that all of these favs were wonderful Christmas gifts I got from my parents, my work and of course myself. So excited to see where 2020 takes my ever-changing style. Let’s get into them!
FASHION
Josie Lace Top by Free People — One of the coolest, detailed blouses I received for Christmas this year was definitely this lacey-leopard top by Free People. It has a nice snug fit, looks stunning paired over cool denim pants or dressed up with a skirt. I love love it and can’t wait to wear it when I’m feeling edgy this winter.
Rag & Bone Nina Distressed High-Rise Flared Jeans — If there’s two pant qualities you’d never catch me dead wearing over the past few years, it would be high-rise flare pants (#skinnyjeansalltheway) and lightwash denim. To say that I actually purchased these this month as a Christmas gift to myself is, well, pretty shocking, but I love it. I picked these up at the Rag & Bone sample sale for around 90 bucks and I love how they represent breaking out of my pants comfort zone. Let’s make that a move for this coming new year — breaking out of your pant comfort zone 2020.
Schutz Ravena Snake Printed Platform — Another 2020 fashion goal I’m giving myself is to stop wearing the same black platform booties when I go out!!!! This is something that’s always been hard for me since I always put my creative energy toward the clothes I’m wearing more so than the shoes when Winter rolls around, so I’m excited to now give these a go. Best part? They’re super comfortable and they make you about 5 inches taller (which is seriously what I need when you compare me to say, Sean, or any of my friends who are all TALL).

Grand Budapest Hotel Coffee Table Book — I was soooo pleased to receive this as my Secret Santa gift this year, and am so excited to make it a coffee table book when I get my very own coffee table ! It has absolutely stunning shots of the making of the movie — everything from Anderson’s set designs, to the costumes, makeup and more, and I have been flipping through it since I got it. OBSESSED!
Leaving you with a little inspo for 2020:
“How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,. That has such people in 't!” Be kind, and be grateful.
