BURTON'S VERSE FEAT. LACE CAMI
I’ve been on a total kick as of late of rewatching some of my favorite Burton movies — between Eddy Scissorhands and Beetlegeuse alike. They’ve put me in a real mood of nostalgia and self reflection since I completely (and whole heartedly) relate to the director when it comes to my expression and art. Seeing the world behind black and white cartoonist lenses is basically my style mantra, and I wanted to celebrate it here in one of my first winter to spring transition outfits of the year.
I started with this tight cream turtleneck blouse (a nice little nod to Eddy Scissorhand’s suit) from Urban Outfitters, and layered a pretty black lace cami over top. This is one of my favorite spring style hacks because it completely lightens up any wintry look and adds another layer of dimension and texture. I paired this with grey ripped jeans I got ages ago at Pacsun, and completed the look with a patent leather puffer I got my hands on last year from Revolve. I brought the whole look together with this Brixton Fiddler Hat, and my Tony Bianco booties.

When in the “why” and the “wherefore” is neither rhyme nor reason?”
