Ever since I can remember, I always had a love-hate relationship with animal prints. There was a long time where I chose to pretty much avoided any sort of animal print in my wardrobe (with the exception of some snakeskin boots I owned at one point), that lasted about 24 years of life, and somehow as I’ve just entered my 25th, I’m welcoming it with open arms. Truth be told, animal prints are everywhere the eye can see as of late which is probably what finally pushed me to purchase my first big leopard print coat in my wardrobe above, but I’d also like to think that my love for Lisa Frank helped, too.

I first spotted this Leopard Print Bomber at Urban Outfitters a few weeks ago. I liked this particular style because it’s cropped, zips up, and is incredibly warm. I also love that I can pair it with pretty much anything, whether it be black overalls, skirts or dresses. For this look I kept it casual and paired this White Rib Roll Cropped Turtleneck from Missguided with some ripped jeans, and Nike Air Force 1s.

Although I can’t say I will be adding a ton of animal print into my routine, I’m happy to say that it’s slowly, but surely happening (baby steps!)

“How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world, that has such people in't!”
