JANUARY FAVORITES
Twenty nineteen, one month down. This month my style has been a lot more minimalist than it ever has (cue lots of black body suits and lucite earrings). I also got to re-do my room this month (I moved to the room next door in my apartment) so I got to build on the decor I already have a little more. Without further ado, here’s what I’ve been reaching for this month.
fashion
Roux Chunky Resin Hoop Earrings — I bought these babies in the beginning of the month, and I haven’t been able to stop wearing them. They’re super comfy, go with pretty much every outfit I can come up with, and are great quality for their price. So good.
Free People Crazy in Love Poet Sweater — This pretty little sweater was gifted to me this past Christmas from my mom — and I’ve been totally obsessed with it. It’s the perfect work-friendly sweater and looks killer under a pair of black jegging overalls. Better yet, the sleeves remind me of Shakespeare, so obviously its become one of my favs.
home + for fun
Urban Outfitters Lauren Shelf — The beauty of moving rooms this past month allowed me to pay a little more attention to my wall hangings, and I knew I wanted to include this shelf as soon as I laid eyes on it. Not only is it super affordable, I love that I’m able to show off all my knick knacks and candles in one place. I have two other matching shelves that are from the same collection, and I love them all. PS, I’ve gotten a ton of DMs about my door shelf that holds most of my skincare collection, this is it.
Kitsch x Justine Marjan Drippin’ Bobby Pin — Another fav for this month has of course been this pretty bobby pin from Kitsch x Justine Marjan. This baby simply jazzes up any special occasion outfit and just simply looks fly. Would highly recommend.
Brutalized Gainsborough 2 Framed Art Print by Chad Wys — With even more wall space then I anticipated, I was able to get a gallery large print from Society 6. Of course, I went with a Marie Antoinette-esque portrait by Chad Wys, to really give my room some #KillerQueen vibes (I mean, can you blame me?)
Here’s to February! [+ NYFW!!!]
“Therefore, since brevity is the soul of wit
And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes,
I will be brief: your noble son is mad.”
