VERONICA FEAT. ZARA BOOTS
Another NYFW has come and gone — and I have to say, this one was certainly one of my favorite seasons. I was a lot more thoughtful in putting together some of my outfits — and this was one I just HAD to share! Inspired by Winona Ryder’s character Veronica in Heathers, I put together this schoolgirl chic outfit for my second day of events (Jeremy Scott’s backstage and the Bergdorf Goodman NYFW party!)
I started the look with my new favorite skirt for Fall that I picked up at the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale — it’s by Ten Sixty Sherman, and it’s the perfect transition piece. The fabric is a bit thick, so I can definitely see myself rocking this as the weather gets colder as well. I paired it with this cute white bodysuit from Brandy Melville (also similar here) with a pretty rectangular neck cut, and a cute pearl necklace I got a while back from Revolve. Finally, the star of the show (+ something I think Veronica would swoon over): these killer white leather booties from Zara (find them here in red). They’re a lot more comfortable than they appear, and I think they elevated this look in every typa’ way.

That monthly changes in her circled orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise variable.”
