AUGUST FAVORITES

And just like that, summer twenty eighteen is over! What a wild ride it's been. Even though I'll be missing these days, I'm super excited for fall *my favorite season* and some cooler air. I'm headed off to Boston this Labor Day weekend to ring in September with a bang, but before I head up north I wanted to share my favorites of the month for August. Here's what I've been obsessing over as of late —

FASHION

LA Hearts Chunky Strap Sweater Top — I picked up this baby when I went outlet shopping in the Adirondacks at the beginning of August, and I'm literally enamored by its fit and versatility. It's perfect to dress up or down no matter what occasion — and it's the perfect summer to fall transition piece. Stay tuned for an outfit post starring this baby, she's a good one. 

Zara Leather Stiletto Heeled Ankle Boots — By farrrrr my favorite purchase of the month. I cannot wait to rock these during fashion week and fall (perpetually breaking the 'no white after labor day' fashion rule). These will definitely be saved for special occasions — but each and every one will be totally worth it. Ugh they're so beautiful. 

Double Hoop Earrings — I got these babies at some point last year, and I think they're the perfect combo of big hoop / big earring trend that's been covering my Insta feed. Looking forward to rocking these a lot more in the coming weeks (cough, NYFW) and I love how they're still super dramatic and a small detail. 

Vintage Black Envelope Purse — This past month I also dug up a lot of  closets at my parent's house — and of course, I came across this adorable teeny black purse. I believe it belonged to my great grandmother (funny how styles come back), and I think it's going to become one of my go-to bags as the weather gets chillier.

Campfire Candle — There's not much more I love than the smell of burnt wood, and that's why I love to bring home a campfire scented candle from the Adirondacks every year. This makes my teeny Upper East Side bedroom feel like I'm lakeside.
