MAY FAVORITES

May has been full of light and love — and I wouldn't have it any other way. Seeing my two best friends graduate college (looking @ you, Lindz + Meg!) was definitely one of the highlights of this month, and also being able to explore a little more of the Upper East where I recently moved (stay tuned til the end where I share some BTS of things I did this month!). As per usual, here are some of the fashun, room decor, and accessory thangs I'm loving this month!

Mixology Star Blouse — I, for the life of me, can't find this online (if anyone has a tip, LMK!), but this is one of my favorite purchases of the month and I picked it up at a Mixology boutique right around the corner from where I live. It's an embroidered material (chock full of light and dark blue stars) and buttons up into a nice high collar and open back. Will definitely have to style this for you all soon — it's SOOOO cute. 

Vintage Red Crossbody — This pretty little bag was handed down to me from my mother and grandmother. Although I'm unsure of it's birthdate — it's definitely super reliable and gorgeous thanks to its good-as-new leather. Plus, it adds the coolest pop of red to literally any outfit, which I'm loving for the warmer season (see you in the Fall, black accessories). 

Decor

Cutest Cactus — At Meg's graduation dinner, she did something super clever with her place settings: everyone got a little cactus! Mine was this really pretty purple succulent right here, and little by little, I'm looking to get more plants here and there. Stay tuned — hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have a mini botanical garden in my room. 

Over The Door Tiered Shelf by Urban Outfitters — Moving a beauty editor into a smaller space this past month got a whole lot easier thanks to this tiered shelf I picked up at Urban. As you can imagine, I accumulate a lot of products throughout the week, so I needed a place where I could constantly switch out and test new stuff. This thing is super sturdy, holds literally everything I need (from hair products, to everyday skin products, oils, serums, toothbrushes, lotions and everything in between). Literally obsessed.

White Travel Makeup Bag — If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I did a few weekend trips this past month, to PA, DC and CT. Therefore, I've been pretty much unpacking and repacking my life consistently over the past few weeks. This cute white makeup bag has been a lifesaver through it all — plus it fits soooo much stuff.  

Desi Perkins x Quay Don't @ Me Sunglasses – I like to start out every summer with a fresh pair of sunglasses, so it's only natural that I reached towards these at the start of the month. They're definitely a little extra, but that's what makes them so fun, and I can't wait to wear them with bikinis and off the shoulder tops all summer long.
