Following the yellow brick road is sometimes what we have to do in life — and never have I learned that more than in the past few weeks. ICYMI, I moved this week — and I'm super pumped and thrilled to be in my new cozy spot on the UES (check out Instagram stories for BTS on my beauty set up). Because the entire beginning of April for me has been taking a lot of chances, I only found it apropos to reference one of everyone's favorites by L.Frank Baum, and of course, his yellow brick road of opportunities.

With this in mind, I centered this look around this awesome yellow velvet body suit that I picked up at Necessary Clothing a couple of weeks ago in SoHo. I love how versatile this suit is, because you can pair it over a top to give it more of a conservative vibe — or, you can wear it alone on a hot summers day for happy hour (the possibilities are simply endless with this). I paired it with some dark ripped skinny jeans, and my absolute favorite Levi's denim jacket. To add a little personality, I finished off the look with this cute white bandana and my typical vintage Gucci purse.
