There's not much else I love more than a killer new cover of a classic song. and when I heard that Frank Ocean covered the classic Breakfast At Tiffany's ballad — Moon River — I couldn't help but download it without even giving it a listen (of course when I did, I loved it.) But, there's something really beautiful and artful about Ocean's version, as it contains a ton of layering and moody twang. During my recent trip to Dallas last week, I took these notions in mind when planning out my outfits to go with my whole aura — and here's what I came up with.

I started with these ripped Topshop jeans that I simply adore (similar here), and paired it with this white crop top that I also picked up at Topshop a year ago (again, can't find the exact but similar here!) I was able to pair this bad boy combo with a black Levi's jean jacket (bless that 75 degree Texas climate), and this really pretty vintage scarf that my grandmother gave to me from Italy (it has illustrations of Pompeii on it, and is super gorgeous). I finished off the look with the Sam Edelman Benjie Booties (can't be in Texas without sporting some Western swag tho), and my vintage Gucci bag.

P.S Wanted to share some photos from my trip to Dallas — it was my first trip out west EVER! (That's right, I've never been to the West Coast or that south!) Definitely made me realize how much of an east coaster/ New Yorker I am but definitely made me want to explore that side of the US even more 💕Scroll right to see some BTS shots (;
