MARNIE FEAT. GUCCI AND A NEWSBOY CAP
October calls for a little Halloween inspo in every little thing I wear: including pulling inspo from some of my OG trick-or-treat inspired movies like Halloweentown. For a little H-Town inspo and a nod to everyone’s childhood favorite witch, Marnie, I put together this little ensemble for a stroll through the city. I tried to capture her avant-garde style with a little elevation and finesse.
I started with the clear centerpiece of this look: this really gorgeous yellow sweater I picked up from Pacsun a few months back (you can find a similar style here), and paired it with these killer Rag & Bone black jeans. Next, I added a leather jacket to edge up the look a bit, and this one has become my new favorite for fall: it’s from Topshop, is super comfy and looks incredibly posh. The other stars of this look are certainly the newsboy cap and bag — the hat I acquired on my recent trip to NOLA at a really cute hat store and it fits like a total glove. The bag is one of the newest to my collection (and the best birthday gift ever from my rents): the Gucci Marmont Mini Camera Bag — perfect to swing on for an autumn stroll or sport out for a fancy dinner.
I leave you with one of my favorite Shakes quote to wrap up this Hallo-inspired lewk.
“Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires.”
