JULY FAVORITES
And like the drop of a hat -- another favorites post is going up. I wanted to give you guys a little update about the changes that will be happening on this blog moving forward, as I'm officially -- that's right -- employed! I will talk more about my daytime gig at a later date (as it's still the very beginning), but I wanted to point out that I'll be narrowing down these favorites to only a few beauty items and start mixing in accessory and fashion favorites (which is something I've always wanted to do, anyway!). July has been an incredible month of ups and downs for me -- and if there's anything I learned in the short span of the last four weeks, is that life seriously throws you all types of curveballs, both good and bad. And sometimes, we're really not ready for them and have to deal with them anyway (both in good and bad ways). But I'm so thankful for the opportunities I've been given, and I cannot wait to sprinkle my eccentricity about. Without further ado, here's what I've been loving this month.
beauty + BODY
Milk Makeup's Coverage Duo has been a reach for me this month because of it's long lasting and highly pigmented formula. Plus, the packaging is simply glorious cause it looks like it came from outer space.
A staple in my work bag this month -- Milk's Highlighter in 'Lit' -- it's just so easy on the go, in between meetings, and for after-work festivities.
This also has not left my work bag in the past couple of weeks -- I'm obsessed with this violety-pepper scent from Korres because it's just the right amount of sour and sweet.
These Burt's Bees Grapefruit Makeup Wipes have become my go-to summer staple. I'm obsessed with the scent, and I find my skin majorly less shiny after using these.
I always thought Lush's Shower Jellies were a little silly until I tried this one -- and I'm forever a changed gal. Whoosh has completely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be repurchasing. Bonus: it smells BOMB!
fashion and accessories
My friend's hosted a 70s party this month, so obviously I had to pick up glasses like these. P.S. Can't find them online (legit I got them at Party City.. but here's a rabbit hole of John Lennon glasses for you to go down.
I cannot even express to you how obsessed I am with these House of Harlow earrings from Rocksbox -- they are so me so I knew I had to purchase 'em when they came in. P.S. Get your first month off of Rocksbocks with my code alannamartinexoxo (;
While I'm not sure if this Shein suit is conducive for heavy swimming, I still think it's perfect for fun photoshoots so it was a must-purchase (for only $15! nevertheless). It also fits seamlessly, which is amazing.
