Because what's a post featuring fishnet socks without referencing some Moulin Rouge?  Satine – the story's tragic heroine–is probably one of my favorite characters of all time because of her grace and edge: two qualities I aimed for in this look. The rebel fishnet details is a nod to Satine's home at the Moulin Rouge – while the softer lace references her more delicate notes.

I started with this lacey slip top (which fun fact, is actually a dress) I got from UO last year. Unfortunately I can't find this baby online anymore (shop similar here), but I decided to pair it with a denim skirt overtop to add a rougher element. Next, I paired these AMAZING fishnet socks with Steve Madden Carrson'sFinally, all my jewelry pieces are from Rocksbox –  I'm obsessed with these hoops, these pizza earrings (because, duh), and this necklace.
