OCTOBER FAVORITES

And just like that, October is over. I had a blast this month doing a lot of cool projects for this blog and visiting Linds for her birthday in D.C. Click here to see a few pics from my trip + I reveal where that long maroon velvet dress came from ;). Without further ado, here are some of the things I've been obsessing over this past month.

LEITH Burnout Velvet Bodysuit // I wore this baby out on the night of Lindsey's birthday and was so impressed with it's fit and comfort. It's really a gorgeous piece to dress up or down, and it looks mad killer in photos. Definitely planning on styling this for zee blog soon, so stay tuned.
Aritzia Pink Bomber // I got this baby last Christmas and I'm obsessed with wearing it as we get closer to sweater weather. It's super warm, gorgeously lined, and I always get compliments on it whenever I have it on — so obsessed!

Nameplate Bracelet // So funny story guys, this is my baby bracelet! This was a baptism gift (lol), and I've had it sitting in my jewelry stash for twenty-three years now. I decided to get it expanded, and now I wear it on my arm or wrist everyday. I was never a nameplate type of gal, but I have to say, this converted me.
Boutique Choker // I'm a sucker for a great elegant choker, so when I saw this gorgeous opal-pink version in a D.C boutique, I knew I had to pounce. It adds just the right amount of sparkle without too much grandeur, and I love.
Sophie Harper Evil Eye Earrings // Got this set in my most recent Rocksbox set and I immediately purchased. Super cute to either wear in each ear or even just on one with as I have a couple of piercings in each of my ears. PS Use my code alannamartinexoxo for $10 off your first month ;).

41 Winks Block Out The Haters Sleep Mask // I don't often wear sleep masks, but when I do, they say this! So excited to receive this beauty from my girls over at 41 Winks, and stay tuned for some fun stuff coming cc this!
November BootayBag // Had to feature these lovely pairs I just received from my babes over at BootayBag. Their underwear is always super cute and comfy , not to mention these two are starting to seriously starting to get me into the holiday spirit (ah!)
Finally, October taught me a lot of things and I wanted to leave you with one of my favorite Shakes quotes of all time (not just bc it rhymes, also) —

P O S T S C R I P T // Wanted to chat about my Halloween look for a hot sec, and give you some details of what I wore! I didn't really have anything planned, so my lovely creative producer at work did some kickass Bowie makeup on me and I just wanted to give her a shoutout for such an impeccable job done. My fur vest is from H&M, my bralette from Free People, and my jeans also from Free People.
