STRANGE + UNUSUAL FEAT. TEES AND TANK YOU

October wouldn't be anywhere near complete without a Lydia Deetz tribute post — you know, since 'live people ignore the strange + unusual.. and she is strange + unusual!' All I need is a black veil and a camera to complete the look. Perhaps one of the greatest heroines of Tim Burton's time and space, she loves all things spooky but really has a heart of gold. Plus, Winona Ryder's portrayal makes her character that much better (God bless).

Seriously though, my favorite kind of Halloween-inspired outfits definitely include graphic one liners and witchy accessories like this. I started this witchy lewk with my Strange + Unusual Tee by Tees and Tank You, and paired it with one of my favorite corduroy fall skirts from Brandy Melville. I love the triangular flare at the bottom ofit, and because of that I think this skirt pairs really well with turtlenecks and tees alike. I paired his all with these Sam Edelman booties that I've been wearing non-stop this season, and one of my favorite intricate pearl and diamond chokers.
